Park Chan-wook´s Thirst

Thirst- new film from ”The Trilogy of Vengeance” director Park Chan-wook.

The filming of Park Chan-wook´s new production, Thirst, is expected to begin in early April. The cast includes young actor Shin Ha-gyun, and awarded Song Kang-ho (The Host), and the duo will join the director once again, after Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002).

Thirst is a tragic melodrama about how a man (Song) who turned into a vampire after an accident falls in love with a married woman (Kim Ok-bin). Shin plays the husband.

Plot: Story finds actor Song Kang-ho (Sunshine), as a much-loved priest who becomes a vampire after a failed medical experiment; he becomes a tortured and depraved soul. Title refers to a craving for sex, blood and love. CJ is pitching the pic as a love story with horror and drama.
Shooting will begin in March 2008.

    Thanks for the update for Park Chan Wook's upcoming film. Wow! Can't wait to see it haha!

    This film should be the reunion of Park & Song Kang Ho for a main role after so many years, we especially like his role in JSA & The Host. Great blog!
